This is the month where beginners think they’ve failed.

They’ve just reached the point where the garden starts talking back.
And if you know how to read it, you can fix almost anything.

May is when:
- Growth accelerates fast
- Temperatures swing wildly
- Pests arrive like uninvited guests
- Watering mistakes finally show up
Small problems don’t stay small in May.
They multiply quietly… then all at once.
But here’s the good news:

🟡 PROBLEM 1: YELLOW LEAVES
What it means:
- Overwatering (most common)
- Nitrogen deficiency

What to look for:
- Soft, droopy yellow leaves → too much water
- Pale, slow growth → nutrient issue
